Job description
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a stage technician (m/f/d)
to start as soon as possible
on a full-time basis (39 hours/week)
The Deutsches Theater Göttingen is a theater company that, with over 180 employees—including 25 full-time actors—stages approximately 20 new productions per season. Across three venues, it offers a diverse repertoire spanning classical, modern, and musical theater, as well as theater for children and young people.
In this position, you will be responsible for setting up, rearranging, and dismantling theater sets (including transportation) and providing support during performances.
Your Responsibilities:
Setting up, rearranging, and taking down theater sets
Transporting the sets
Set changes and transformations during performances and rehearsals on and behind the stage
Maintenance, upkeep, and repair of the stage and materials
Willingness to travel for occasional performances at other theaters/venues (tours)
Management and organization of the performance inventory
