Job description

For an HFF Exercise 01, we are looking for someone on short notice to handle original sound and boom mic.

Shooting: August 13–15, 2026
Location: Munich and a forest location in the Munich area
Duration: three days of filming

This approximately ten-minute short film tells the story of a father and his adult daughter. During a photo outing together in the forest, they try to reconnect after a long period of estrangement.

Your responsibilities:

  • Record original sound for dialogue scenes

  • Operate the boom

  • Provide sound support for two actors

  • Check recordings and label them clearly

  • Collaborate with the director and camera operator

  • Pay special attention to wind, clothing, and forest sounds

The exact sound setup will be coordinated with the production team. You do not need to provide your own equipment.

This is an unpaid position. We provide meals, a credit, and a copy of the finished film. We will review applications immediately.
