Script/Continuity (m/f/d) for a student short film at the HFF

We are looking for someone to fill the role of script/continuity coordinator on short notice for an HFF Exercise 01.

Shoot: August 13–15, 2026
Location: Munich and a forest setting in the Munich area
Duration: three days of shooting

The short film has two main characters and takes place primarily during a joint outing in the forest.

Your responsibilities:

• Document takes, shots, and the versions of the script used

• Ensure continuity of the plot, lines of sight, and positions

• Record continuity regarding costumes, dirt, injuries, and props

• Document changes to the camera, backpacks, sandwiches, and other handheld props

• Support the director and editor with clear script notes

This is an unpaid position. We provide meals, a credit, and a copy of the finished film. We process applications immediately.

You work with focus, precision, and organization. Some experience with script/continuity is helpful but not required. This position is also suitable for film students who want to gain practical on-set experience.

• Legible and well-organized documentation

• Confidence in handling the script and daily call sheet

• Calmness and concentration even under time pressure
