PUPPET PERFORMERS (M/F/D) WANTED

For our resident puppet theater in Schwäbisch Hall
, we’re looking to expand our team with a permanent addition!

No prior experience in puppetry is necessary!
We’ll train you right here at the theater.

We have a permanent venue in downtown Schwäbisch Hall with 172 seats and a year-round performance schedule.
Our performances are primarily aimed at schools, preschools, and families.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performing with marionettes in shows lasting approximately 60 minutes each

• Collaborating as part of a team with 3 other performers

• Learning and performing scripts, sequences, and scenes

• Handling and using props during performances

• Rehearsing and learning new plays from the repertoire

• Stage set changes and scene changes

• Assisting in the workshop, particularly with maintenance and restoration

• Admission and box office

• Distributing promotional materials

WE OFFER

• Permanent, full-time position

• Average of 30 hours/week, flexible working hours based on the performance schedule and planned operations

• €2,250 gross per month

• Training in puppetry

IMPORTANT

The position involves physically demanding work, particularly the manipulation, movement, and handling of marionettes and props during performances. Appropriate physical stamina and flexibility are therefore required.

Willingness to relocate to Schwäbisch Hall or the surrounding area is required.
