Prompter (m/f/d) for the music theater of the "Tiroler Landestheater und Orchester"

The Tiroler Landestheater und Orchester GmbH Innsbruck is the largest cultural company in western Austria with the divisions of music theater, drama, dance, young theater, the Tiroler Symphonieorchester Innsbruck and the Haus der Musik Innsbruck. With around 450 employees and 600 performances in all venues, the lively and diverse multi-genre theater stands for cultural diversity, artistic excellence and socio-political relevance. The aim is to further position itself as an innovative, versatile and open "European regional theater".

Join our team in the production department (full-time, 40 hours per week) as soon as possible!

YOUR TASKS

• Supposing performances and rehearsals in musical theater in the original language

• Updating and documenting text and version changes during the rehearsal process

The annual gross salary is at least € 39,200,- (full-time basis). Depending on qualifications and experience, an overpayment is possible.

YOUR REQUIREMENTS

• A technically well-controlled and audible voice with very good articulation

• Excellent general musical knowledge, including the ability to read piano scores with confidence (including contemporary compositions)

• Very good knowledge of German, good knowledge of Italian and French

• High empathy and understanding of artistic processes

• Excellent teamwork skills, social skills and stress resistance

• Willingness to take on normal theater duties (weekends, public holidays, evenings)

• Ideally already have relevant professional experience as a prompter:in musical theater, or at least professional experience in musical theater
