You have a driver’s license—but you hardly dare to get behind the wheel anymore, or not at all?

You could actually drive. But you avoid it: the highway, downtown, parking—or maybe even just the idea of sitting behind the wheel alone—scares you.

So far, you’ve managed to get by somehow. Your partner does the driving. You take the bus and train. Or you organize your daily life around not driving.

But now there’s a reason why things need to change: Maybe you’d finally like to be able to drive your children or grandchildren yourself. A family member relies on your help. Your partner can’t or no longer wants to take every trip. Or your fear is now severely limiting your daily life together.

For a new TV documentary, we’re looking for people with a driver’s license who want to overcome their fear of driving and have a very specific personal goal for doing so.

We’ll accompany you and your partner on this journey over several weeks—from the very first step to the drive you don’t feel confident enough to take today.

Approx. 2.5 days of filming plus a video diary. Expense allowance: 250 euros per person.
