Newborn baby (m/f/d) up to 4 months for a student film shoot
We are students of the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and are shooting our short film from June 23 to 27, 2025. For one evening we are looking for a loving mother who will make her baby available to us for the shooting. Ideally, the baby should be between 0 and 4 months old. The mother will of course be present on set at all times and will be well looked after by our team.
We are a committed and empathetic team for whom a pleasant working environment is very important: feeling comfortable on set is our top priority.
The shoot will take place in Bempflingen. It would therefore be ideal if you come from the surrounding area. Stuttgart, Ludwigsburg and the surrounding area are also very welcome.
Travel costs will of course be covered. Catering on set is provided. Although we are a no-budget project, we would like to thank mother and baby for their valuable support with a small expense allowance.
Selay (31) has been living in a women's shelter with her newborn child for three months. She has left violence and control behind her in the hope of a life in safety. But the road to freedom is rocky. The language is foreign, the authorities demand patience and the trauma runs deep. The only thing that won't let her give up is her love for her child.

We are an all-female core team who want to tell Selay's story authentically, inspired by a true story. The focus is on Selay's greatest source of strength, her love for her baby.
For two particularly important scenes, we need a real baby for filming.
Scene
Selay soothes her baby by turning on the tap in the kitchen. The baby immediately falls asleep peacefully and looks on contentedly. This moment melts Selay's heart.Scene
The baby has a fever. A roommate at the women's shelter tries to bring the fever down and calm the child.
