Casting call - supporting role "Dr. Knorr"

For a new episode of our web series, we are looking for a strong cast member for the supporting role of "Dr. Knorr" - an examiner who creates suspense through her presence alone and shapes the finale of a scene with a single sentence.

What's it about?

It's a humorous social media format about two chaotic set builders. In the new episode, a scene escalates shortly before the finale - until a mysterious examiner appears, who brings everything to a standstill with her calm, almost artificial seriousness. She speaks just one sentence. And that decides everything.

Your task: you play this taciturn, authoritarian character who creates maximum tension through her gaze, posture and minimal movement alone.

• Age: approx. 30-60

• Appearance: well-groomed, inconspicuous, neutral appearance (clothes fit perfectly. Sunglasses like to be oversized.)

• No comedy charisma - you appear serious, calm, controlled.

The role: Dr. Knorr - The Examiner

• Your gaze leads the scene. Minimal body tension, but targeted.

• A single sentence with maximum effect: "This is the test book?"

• Afterwards: look into the folder, nod, turn away wordlessly.

What you should bring:

• Ability to be present without text

• Experience with playing in silence and reduction

What you can expect:

• Shooting location: Karlsruhe

• Shooting period: mid-July 2025 (probably on 14.07.2025)

• Shooting time: approx. 2-3 hours

• Catering on set included

• Travel expenses cannot be covered

Outfit:

• Please bring: white blouse or shirt, dark fabric trousers

• Optional: sunglasses with mirror lenses

• We provide: Clipboard or tablet as a prop
