THE ROLES

We are looking for three authentic, charismatic seniors for an upcoming commercial for AMI.

The ideal talents should have a natural, warm, and engaging presence on camera. We are looking for real personalities rather than stereotypical “senior” characters—people who are relatable, charming, and bring their own personality to the film.

OVERALL CASTING DIRECTION

We are not looking for stereotypical elderly characters.

We want people who feel alive, curious, funny, intelligent, and relatable.

Think: your favorite neighbor, your funny uncle, your grandmother who always has a great story to tell—people you would genuinely enjoy spending time with.

The ideal candidates should be comfortable delivering short lines naturally and reacting spontaneously to situations.

SAMANTHA – The Irresistible Gossip
Female, 68–75, any ethnicity

Sharp, socially connected, and full of personality. Samantha loves a good story and has a quick wit. She should come across as confident, stylish, warm, and mischievous, never like a stereotypical “sweet grandmother.”

Her performance should be natural, expressive, and conspiratorial, with subtle reactions and playful facial expressions.

Must be comfortable applying lipstick/makeup while holding a small hand mirror and repeating the action consistently.
