THE ROLES

We are looking for three authentic, charismatic seniors for an upcoming commercial for AMI.

The ideal talents should have a natural, warm, and engaging presence on camera. We are looking for real personalities rather than stereotypical “senior” characters—people who are relatable, charming, and bring their own personality to the film.

OVERALL CASTING DIRECTION

We are not looking for stereotypical elderly characters.

We want people who feel alive, curious, funny, intelligent, and relatable.

Think: your favorite neighbor, your funny uncle, your grandmother who always has a great story to tell—people you would genuinely enjoy spending time with.

The ideal candidates should be comfortable delivering short lines naturally and reacting spontaneously to situations.

PAUL – The Capable Tinkerer
Male, 68–78, any ethnicity

A practical, competent, and slightly stubborn man who loves fixing things and working on his vintage car. Paul has a dry sense of humor and a playful competitive streak with Ami.

The performance should be natural, understated, and authentic, with the humor stemming from familiar banter rather than exaggerated comedy.

Must be comfortable working with tools, moving or lying beneath a raised vehicle, and using a mechanic’s creeper. Mechanical experience is a plus.
