Make-up artist (m/f/d) for the "Theater Krefeld"

The Theater Krefeld und Mönchengladbach gGmbH is the oldest fusion theater in Germany and employs around 500 people. It offers musical theater, ballet and drama as well as the orchestra "Niederrheinische Sinfoniker". Numerous special events, extensive theater and concert education as well as projects to promote young artists round off the wide-ranging theater profile. Every year, around 600 events take place on the stages and venues of our theaters in Krefeld and Mönchengladbach, in the Fabrik Heeder and other external venues in the respective city areas as well as in guest venues.

We are looking for a full-time

make-up artist (m/f/d) from 01.09.2026

The position is limited until 31.07.2027. The average weekly working time is 39 hours. Remuneration is in accordance with TVöD-VKA (collective agreement for the public service) and taking into account personal requirements. You will work at the theaters in Krefeld and Mönchengladbach.

Your tasks will include all work for women's and men's make-up for the musical theater, ballet and drama sections, in particular:

• Supporting and assisting the performing staff in rehearsals and performances

• Designing characters according to the specifications of the costume designers or the head make-up artist

• Production of rigid and flexible masks, wigs, hairpieces, facial and body hair

• Maintenance and care work
