Make-up artist (f/m/d) at the "Theater Konstanz"

The Theater Konstanz is looking for a make-up artist (f/m/d) for the current 2025/2026 season.

We offer you a varied full-time position in an artistically relevant field of work. We work together in a collegial team, provide a professional home for around 120 employees and offer an attractive workplace right by the lake.

Your area of responsibility:

As a make-up artist, you will be responsible for the supervision of all events at the theater as part of the make-up team, working proactively and independently in close coordination with the head of make-up. You will work during rehearsals and performances and independently reproduce the make-up. In the workshop area, you will make any productions according to the conceptual specifications of the external costume designers.

The facts:

• The employment relationship is based on the collective agreement NV Bühne-BT.

• We offer a full-time position with a current working week of 40 hours. The monthly rosters are based on the performance schedule. The working hours are irregular due to rehearsal and performance times.

• The monthly salary is currently € 2,900 gross for career starters. People with at least two years of professional experience receive € 3,110 gross according to the collective agreement.

• The position is fixed-term as per the collective agreement with the option of extension.

The employment relationship begins at the earliest possible date or by arrangement and ends on 31.08.2028.

What you need:

• Training as a make-up artist or a degree as a state-approved make-up artist

• Training as a hairdresser and practical experience in the work processes of a theater is an advantage

• Enjoyment of theater work, Empathy for artistic processes and sensitivity

• Proactive understanding of work, open communication skills, sociability and team-oriented work

• Craft skills, organizational talent and creativity in solving technical and artistic problems

• Language skills in German (oral)
