Role / Requirements profile
Your Job:
Lighting support and programming for all formats of entertainment shows featuring guest artists as well as onboard programs
Operating all onboard entertainment lighting and broadcast equipment in the theater, studio, stage, and bar
Setting up and taking down mobile lighting and broadcast equipment, as well as props for the daily shows on board
Filming, mixing, and broadcasting the daily live TV broadcasts on board, including pre- and post-production
Filming TV segments and other video content on board, including pre- and post-production
Ensuring the proper functioning of all systems related to satellite reception and onboard TV
Verifying the correct scheduling of TV programs and playlists
Maintenance, upkeep, and management of onboard entertainment, lighting, and broadcast equipment, as well as coordinating repairs and orders
Administrative tasks and reporting
What you bring to the table:
Completed training as an event technology specialist (specializing in lighting)
Very good knowledge of network technology (ArtNet)
Experience as a lighting technician in live performance settings (musicals, theater, shows)
Excellent knowledge of modern lighting and video technology (Hog 4, grandMA 3, ArKaos, Mediamaster-Pro, Roland, Panasonic, Show-Cue-System, Q-Lab) as well as experience working with MIDI and timecode
Excellent knowledge of modern broadcast and editing technology (Blackmagic Design, Teracue, DaVinci Resolve)
Experience in lighting programming and lighting design
Basic computer skills
Excellent command of German and English
