Role / Requirements profile

Your Job:

  • Lighting support and programming for all formats of entertainment shows featuring guest artists as well as onboard programs

  • Operating all onboard entertainment lighting and broadcast equipment in the theater, studio, stage, and bar

  • Setting up and taking down mobile lighting and broadcast equipment, as well as props for the daily shows on board

  • Filming, mixing, and broadcasting the daily live TV broadcasts on board, including pre- and post-production

  • Filming TV segments and other video content on board, including pre- and post-production

  • Ensuring the proper functioning of all systems related to satellite reception and onboard TV

  • Verifying the correct scheduling of TV programs and playlists

  • Maintenance, upkeep, and management of onboard entertainment, lighting, and broadcast equipment, as well as coordinating repairs and orders

  • Administrative tasks and reporting

What you bring to the table:

  • Completed training as an event technology specialist (specializing in lighting)

  • Very good knowledge of network technology (ArtNet)

  • Experience as a lighting technician in live performance settings (musicals, theater, shows)

  • Excellent knowledge of modern lighting and video technology (Hog 4, grandMA 3, ArKaos, Mediamaster-Pro, Roland, Panasonic, Show-Cue-System, Q-Lab) as well as experience working with MIDI and timecode

  • Excellent knowledge of modern broadcast and editing technology (Blackmagic Design, Teracue, DaVinci Resolve)

  • Experience in lighting programming and lighting design

  • Basic computer skills

  • Excellent command of German and English
