Lighting technician (m/f/d) for the "Hessische Landestheater Marburg"

The Hessische Landestheater Marburg GmbH is supported by the state of Hesse and the city of Marburg and is one of six publicly subsidized theater companies in Hesse. With 76 employees, including an ensemble of 18 actors and its own trades in the areas of costumes, make-up, props, painting, carpentry and metalwork, the HLTM has three permanent venues and has the task of bringing theater to the area. The HLTM puts on around 250 to 300 performances a year.

The Hessisches Landestheater Marburg (Hesse) is looking for a lighting technician for the 2026/2027 season by 18.9.206 at the latest. The position is initially limited to one year, whether a parental leave replacement, and can be extended if necessary.

We are looking for an independent personality who, in addition to enthusiasm for theater, also enjoys creating lighting concepts and knows how to find the optimum balance between artistic demands and technical feasibility.

The focal points of her work include:

• Ensuring the technical lighting process during rehearsals and performances

• Installing and dismantling the lighting fixtures for rehearsals and performances

• Maintenance and repair tasks on the lighting system and repair tasks on the lighting system

• Safeguarding the installed electrical technology in the building

• Creating technical lighting records in the respective area

• Developing lighting concepts (consulting, Implementation, realization)

Prerequisites:

• Completed vocational training as an event technology specialist (or equivalent training)

• Professional experience at a theater or in the event industry is an advantage
