Lighting Supervisor (f/m/d) for the "Theater Plauen-Zwickau"

The Theater Plauen-Zwickau is looking for a full-time, permanent Lighting Master (m/f/d) for the Plauen location as soon as possible. However, an assignment in Zwickau is also a matter of course.

The Theater Plauen-Zwickau is a merged four-genre theater with its own orchestra based in Plauen and Zwickau. Both cities are places of work, the main place of employment will be in Plauen.

Your area of responsibility includes:

• Responsibility for compliance with the regulations according to the SächsVStättVO, the VBGs and the applicable industry standards 

• Planning and implementation of lighting concepts in the current premiere schedule across all genres in close cooperation with the directing teams 

• Supervision of rehearsals and performances

• Responsible for the creation of lighting concepts and their implementation for special events

• Performance management in the repertoire

• Planning and realization of guest performances, Co-productions and takeovers

• Responsibility for the testing of portable electrical equipment at the Plauen site, including the procurement of the necessary material in consultation with the head of department, 

• Personnel responsibility for the lighting staff at both locations with regard to further training and special responsibilities (operator, laser, electrician, building electrics) in close cooperation with the head of department

• Participation in the meetings for scheduling (weekly meetings and meetings for scheduling) and, in case of substitution, in management meetings

• Organization and monitoring of decoration installations, Maintenance and repair work on the lighting equipment

• Maintenance of the lighting systems and their documentation
