Lighting and sound technician (m/f/d) for theater production of "Closer"

For our theater production Closer (by Patrick Marber) we are looking for a light and sound technician.

When and where:
📍 ACUD Theater, Berlin
🗓 Performances: 01.10. - 04.10.2025, each at 20:00 (approx. 2 hours)
🗓 Rehearsals: probably 3 dates at the end of August / beginning of September (exact dates will be coordinated together)

🗓 Rehearsals: approximately 3 sessions in late August / early September (exact dates to be coordinated together)

Your tasks:

• Technical supervision of lighting and sound during technical rehearsals and performances

• Operation of the lighting and sound technology in the ACUD Theater

• Implementation of a lighting/sound concept in consultation with the director and production

• Programming and, if necessary, operation of lighting and sound cues (12 scenes with individual requirements)

• Support during set-up and dismantling (lighting is done together with the technician). Operation of lighting and sound cues (12 scenes with individual requirements)

What you should bring:

• Experience in the field of theater/event technology, especially with lighting and sound technology

• Working language English (+German)

Your Responsibilities:

• Technical supervision of lighting and sound during tech rehearsals and performances

• Operation of lighting and sound equipment at the ACUD Theater

• Implementation of a lighting/sound concept in coordination with the production team

• Programming and operating lighting and sound cues (12 scenes with individual requirements)

• Support with setup and takedown (lighting setup will be done together with the venue's technician)

What You Should Bring:

• Experience in theater/event technology, especially in lighting and sound

• Working language: English (+ German)
