Ladies' tailor (m/f/d) for the "Theater Plauen-Zwickau"

The Theater Plauen-Zwickau is looking for a Ladies' Tailor (m/f/d) from September 2026, initially for a limited period of 1 year. Places of work are Plauen and Zwickau, the costume department is based in Zwickau. Our theater has its own workshop where the costumes are made under the guidance of the costume masters.

Tasks:

• Stylistically correct, professional, timely and economical realization of the given designs

• Timely new production of theater costumes

• Practical implementation of the figurines from pattern drawing to completion (historical to  contemporary)

• Conducting costume rehearsals and participating in costume meetings

• Instructing and instructing employees in the production of costumes

• Supervising the respective final rehearsals

• Organizing work processes and, if necessary, creating rosters

• . Creation of duty rosters

• Completed training as a ladies' tailor (m/f/d) 

• Team player and creativity 

• Craft skills 

• New production of women's costumes

• Amendments of women's found costumes

• Independent cutting of costume parts and small parts: such as. E.g. collars, ruffles, pockets, sleeves etc.

• Work in the costume shop

• Willingness to work flexible hours and dressing services

• Driver's license
