Is versatility your greatest strength, and do you want the same from your job? As a Junior Casting Manager for Entertainment Services (f/m/d) at sea chefs, you can expect not only a varied role on the entertainment team—you’ll also dive into the world of seafaring!
Ensuring continuous staffing of entertainment positions aboard the Mein Schiff and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises fleets, taking into account position-specific requirements and guidelines from the relevant operational departments
Creating, coordinating, and communicating work schedules and job descriptions for the positions under your responsibility
Administering, managing, and organizing the artist department
Organizing, advertising, conducting, and evaluating auditions (live & online) in the performing arts sector (dance, acrobatics, acting, singing, and music) in close collaboration with the relevant department.
Close collaboration with talent and crew agencies
Maintaining, further development, and optimization of the talent pool, including career planning
Conducting contract and fee negotiations as part of scheduling while adhering to budgetary guidelines
Implementation & optimizing briefings for entertainment positions to be filled on board
Regular reporting to relevant stakeholders
Supporting personnel marketing initiatives for the entertainment sector (online & print)
Role / Requirements profile
What you bring to the table:
Ideally, some initial experience in human resources and/or casting, preferably in the cultural or theater sector
A degree in theater or cultural management is a plus, or relevant professional experience
Professional experience aboard a cruise ship is a plus
Familiarity with the subject matter of the area you will be responsible for
Ability to work within budget while meeting financial targets
High resilience and ability to handle stress
Organizational skills, independence, and the ability to motivate employees
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Reliability and integrity
Proficiency with computers (especially MS Office)
Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
