Host(s) (m/f/d) for a Gamescom event in Cologne

Become part of an immersive fantasy gaming world.
For an exhibition booth at Gamescom in Cologne, we are looking for a Host / Storytelling Greeter to welcome visitors and guide them into the experience.

This is a guest-facing role with a strong storytelling element. The host will welcome visitors to the booth area, introduce them to the atmosphere of the fantasy world, help manage the flow of guests, and may deliver a short, scripted introduction lasting about 2 to 3 minutes.

We are looking for someone who is warm, confident, and engaging, with the ability to speak clearly, hold the audience’s attention, and make a strong first impression. Experience in acting, hosting, or storytelling is a plus, but the most important qualities are confidence, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain high energy throughout long event days.

Full availability from August 24 to 30 is required.

Fee: 15 € per hour—final details depend on the assignment and schedule.

German and English are required or strongly preferred for this role.

We are looking for a host with a confident speaking voice, natural warmth, and a professional manner when interacting with visitors. The role is suitable for someone with experience in hosting, events, brand ambassador work, acting, moderation, storytelling, or live communication.

The visual direction is inspired by a fantasy world with Middle Eastern influences. Applications are welcome from all backgrounds.
What matters most is that the host’s presence, communication style, and energy fit the atmosphere of the booth.
