Featured Extras (m/f/d) for Training Videos in the Healthcare Industry

We produce training videos for the healthcare industry. We are looking for extras and background actors for a production on the topic of “Hygienic Practices in Hospitals.”

Filming will take place in mid-October 2026 (October 14 or 15) at a real hospital in the Oberbergischer Kreis district. It is not yet entirely clear whether the location will be in Gummerbach or Waldbröl. Filming on location will be carried out by a very small crew (3 people) to avoid disrupting the daily work of the staff and the actual patients on site.

We are looking for at least two extras (m/f/d) to play the roles of patients. The reason for the “inpatient treatment” is irrelevant to the plot, so a wide variety of types and characters are suitable.

It is important that the extras can put themselves in the shoes of a sick person and are willing to have simulated medical procedures performed on them, for example: blood pressure and pulse checks, listening with a stethoscope, changing bandages on an arm, neck, or leg, role-playing conversations with doctors or nurses—and similar scenarios!

In our courses, the lead roles are always played by actual doctors and nurses from the facility. The extras serve as scene partners. There’s no need to memorize scripts or dialogues; the scenes are created on the spot under the guidance of the directing team.
