Extras (m/f/d) as “Moses’ followers” for a student-produced Greenpeace AI hybrid film

For the AI-hybrid film project "Greenpeace Wave of Change," we are looking for extras to play members of Moses’s entourage.

The commercial addresses the growing pollution of our oceans in a humorous yet powerful way. The concept is based on the iconic story of Moses parting the sea—but instead of a miracle, a massive mountain of trash blocks the way. The scene is intended to create a powerful visual and emotional moment that sparks reflection and leaves a lasting impression.

For this student project, we’re looking for dedicated performers and extras who are eager to be part of an experimental AI hybrid project and to join us in telling a relevant story with social impact.

The cast actors will either be fully integrated into the film using AI or incorporated into the scene via a hybrid compositing solution. The project involves the use of generative artificial intelligence and digital compositing/post-production techniques. The recorded footage, movements, and performances may be digitally edited, enhanced, or integrated into AI-generated visual worlds as part of the agreed-upon film project.

The characters are part of the group following Moses and react to the events unfolding around him. Their impact comes primarily from authentic, subtle reactions—not from over-the-top acting or exaggerated comedy.

We are looking for people with:

• distinctive, characterful faces

• a rather natural, unstyled look

• a timeless, historically credible appearance

• no modern styling

• no classic “advertising model” look

Preference will be given to performers with an appearance that fits into a Middle Eastern / Mediterranean / North African context.

It is important to project a credible, timeless impression as part of a biblically or historically inspired crowd.
