Job description

For a segment on a public-service business magazine , we are looking for people nationwide from various professions who would like to share their personal experiences with overtime.

We are particularly interested in jobs that involve long commutes, changing work locations, schedules that are difficult to plan, or a high workload—for example, in logistics, field service, or technical service professions. People from other industries are also welcome to contact us.

We want to show how overtime arises, why it cannot always be avoided, and how the extra work affects your daily life. Our goal is not to single out individual employers for criticism. We want to make the various causes understandable and, where appropriate, also take the employer’s perspective into account. Employers may remain anonymous.

Please apply by sending us your name, phone number, some information about your job and your overtime situation, and a recent photo!

Role / Requirements profile

Do you regularly stay late at work, take on extra shifts, or finish tasks at home? Perhaps you find it difficult to make up for your overtime with time off, or have you even left your job because of the ongoing extra work?

Have you already left your previous job because of overtime, or are you currently on sick leave because of it? Even so, we’d love to hear from you. In that case, you could tell us about your experiences in retrospect.

Of course, your participation in the filming can be kept anonymous if you wish.
