Employee in the Artistic Operations Office (m/f/d)
The Theater Hagen is the leading cultural institution in the city of Hagen and the region between the Ruhr area and Sauerland with its musical theater, ballet, drama, concert and children's and youth theater divisions. From 01.09.2026 we are looking for an employee in the Artistic Operations Office (m/f/d) for the areas of opera, operetta, musical, ballet, drama.
Your tasks:
Coordination and communication of all organizational information for the performance and rehearsal operations with the various departments
Creation and distribution of rehearsal and monthly schedules as well as audience notices
Preparation of the director's and weekly schedule meetings
Organization of cast changes, evening casts and replacement performances
Check availability of guests
Organize auditions and auditions
Organize accommodation for guests
Drawing up contracts for evening stand-ins and chorus substitutes
Correcting the dates of announcements intended for the public
Processing sick notes, vacation and fee slips for artistic staff
Reserving and managing rehearsal rooms
Creating and maintaining scheduling, availability, duty and telephone lists
Willingness to work flexible hours as well as evening and weekend shifts is required.
This is a full-time position. Employment is in accordance with NV Bühne.

Role / Requirements profile
Your profile:
Knowledge and experience in theater operations as well as knowledge of the processes of a multi-discipline theater
Comprehensive PC knowledge (MS Office programs)
Independent, responsible and precise work
Confident appearance, Strong communication skills
A team player with a talent for organization and improvisation
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays (telephone service on a rotating basis)
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
Theater enthusiasm and sensitivity for artistic processes
An advantage:
Experience in the artistic operations office
Knowledge of collective agreements (NV Bühne and TVK)
Experience with scheduling software KOKOS Event
