Actor (f/m/d) "(real) parent-child duo" wanted for YouTube video series
For a new YouTube video series, we are looking for an authentic parent-child duo to discover theme parks together - and bring real family moments to camera.
What's it all about?
In each episode, the child (accompanied by mom or dad) explores a park, shows favorite places, tests activities and shares little highlights. The whole thing should feel like a real family outing - spontaneous, curious, honest. No script, no moderation mode, but real discovery with natural dialog between parent and child.
Framework conditions:
First shooting period: April 2026
Shooting location: Germany-wide
Compensation by arrangement
Multiple shooting days planned (in different periods by arrangement)
How to apply: Send us a few photos of you (child + parent together) and a short text introducing yourself: Who are you, what do you like to do together, and why do you fit this format? Links to existing social media channels or content examples are also welcome. Please also tell us whether you already have camera experience.
Dear parents, if you are applying for your children, please include a recent, good color photo of your child with your application.
We look forward to receiving your application!
The child:
approx. 9-10 years old
Curious, bright, energetic and playful
Likes to talk and can describe experiences in their own words
Responds spontaneously and naturally to questions
Not shy in front of the camera - but please not a rehearsed "child presenter"
The parent:
acts as a natural companion - relaxed, humorous, at eye level with the child
is prepared to speak in front of the camera themselves (approx. 20% of the screen time)
Very important - for both of you: You are largely filming yourselves. This means that you should already have experience in content creation. This includes speaking independently in front of the camera, filming each other (cell phone, GoPro or similar) and having a feel for how good shots are created - framing, perspective, sound. You don't have to be professionals, but you should be familiar with using a camera and filming yourselves.
The most important thing: There has to be a spark between you. Humor, closeness, trust - the dynamic between child and parent is the focus of the format.
