Leading actor (m/d) as brand character for a commercial shoot

We are looking for an expressive male actor for the role of a likeable, playful brand character. You wear a light character costume, but - and this is crucial - your face is visible all the time and is the center of attention. You tell the entire story through facial expressions, gestures and body movements. There is no dialog. Your face and your body are the language.

The character is friendly, playful, charming and has a flowing, almost dance-like way of moving. He interacts with people and objects - sometimes humorously, sometimes gently, always engagingly.

PRODUCTION & SCOPE

• 3 shooting days at various locations (indoor & Studio)

• Filmed and photographed

• The resulting image and video material will be and video material will be used by the client as part of their brand communication

• The comprehensive rights of use for the resulting material are included in the fee

• Please state your total fee for all 3 days of filming including rights of use in your application

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Gender: Male Age: 20-40 years Body type: Slim to athletic, agile Height: 170-185 cm

Important: Facial expressions and gestures are in the foreground

Since the entire character communicates non-verbally and your face is permanently in the picture, we are looking for someone who can tell stories through facial expressions and gestures. You should be able to convey emotions such as amazement, joy, mischief, tenderness and curiosity purely through your facial expressions and body language.

Ideal background

We are particularly interested in applicants with the following background:

• Physical Theater / Body Theater

• Pantomime / Mime

• Contemporary Dance

• Acting with a focus on body work

• Clowning / Comedy / Improv

• Character-Performance / mascot experience

Theater experience and stage background are a definite advantage. We are specifically looking for someone who can play with their facial expressions and gestures - not so much a pure model background.
