The Sorbian National Ensemble (SNE) in Bautzen, with its three professional sections of ballet, orchestra and choir, is particularly committed to the preservation, promotion and development of Sorbian art and culture. The diverse repertoire ranges from dance theater, music theater, concerts to children's music theater and folklore.

Auditions:

1st round

• Joseph Haydn: Concerto in D major, opus 101 Hob. VIIb: 2, 1st movement with cadenza, 2nd movement with cad. F

or

• Joseph Haydn: Concerto in C major, Hob. VIIb: 5, 1st movement with cadenza, 2nd movement with cadenza

2nd round 

• A romantic concerto, 1st movement. Movement (Antonin Dvořak, Robert Schumann, Édouard Lalo) 

Orchestral parts Tutti

• Bedřich Smetana: "The Bartered Bride", Overture (up to one bar after letter D)

• Ludwig van Beethoven: 5th Symphony, Andante con mélodie. Symphony, Andante con moto, Theme Variations

• Johannes Brahms: 2. Symphony, Adagio non troppo

Orchestral parts solo

• Franz von Suppè: Overture from "Dichter und Bauer"

• Joseph Haydn: Symphony no. 31, Finale Variation 2
