We are looking for new, fresh stories for our rain fashion lifestyle blog and associated social media channels - also for a longer collaboration.
Do you have a soft spot for fashion? Do you have a cheerful naturalness and know how to present yourself in front of the camera? Are you creative and like to contribute your own ideas?
Then we have already clarified the most important key points. Experience in the areas of user-generated content (UCG) or acting is not a mandatory requirement for this job - we are also happy to give newcomers a chance.
Let's get down to the details:
We will provide you with rainwear for the duration of our collaboration. We have a nice collection of jackets, coats and wellies and are sure to find something nice for you.
You integrate the rain fashion into your everyday life and report on it in video clips that you record with your smartphone. In this way, individual clips are turned into small, coherent (everyday) stories lasting 10-15 minutes. You only need to speak for a maximum of 50% of the time.
The clips should be as authentic as possible. In order not to restrict you artificially, we only provide a few suggestions, but no ready-made script. We are happy to be convinced by your creativity.
We will pay you €1 for every minute of unedited raw footage, including buyouts, and are happy to take material from you in the amount of €150 per month. We are also happy to do this on a long-term basis over several months.
We have of course prepared a contract that we will be happy to discuss with you and answer any questions you may have in advance.
We look forward to your introduction video and to possibly/hopefully working with you.
Some things have already been mentioned above - let's summarize the key points here:
You have time to make recordings over the next few weeks and are ideally also interested in a longer, continuous collaboration.
You are creative, can create creative video clips without a script and speak into the camera. Experience in acting or UGC is not essential.
The important thing is that you can create authentic and natural shots without appearing artificial.
You know how to set the scene for fashion. You don't need your own rainwear - we'll provide it for you.
Your smartphone can record 4K videos at 60fps. In case of doubt, 4K with 30fps is also possible, in which case we would like to watch a test video in advance.
The recordings are made in portrait mode. Recordings in which you are moving (e.g. shopping in the city, walking the dog, etc.) should be as steady as possible, preferably with a gimbal.
Some ideas we have ad hoc for the videos would be:
"Fashion show" - combining the rainwear with some of your outfits, posing in front of the mirror, explaining advantages and disadvantages, etc.
Rainwear in winter - how do you cleverly combine it with warm clothes to stay warm and dry outside in winter? Gladly with outdoor shots.
Outdoor activities - horse riding, with the dog, etc. - emphasize the advantages of rubber boots on muddy field paths.
In different positions - cycling, sitting in the car, working indoors in some way, cleaning - emphasize that the clothes don't actually bother you and are comfortable.
In different places - "even in the tropical rainforest the coat is great!"
Check for tightness - in the rain or even in the shower ;o)
Do you have any ideas on how you could implement this? Or other ideas of your own? Then let's get started!
