Job description
The Staatstheater Kassel is looking for a bilingual Russian-German stage design assistant
(m/f/d) (as a guest)
This major musical theater production will take place in our new INTERIM venue. Directed by Timofey Kuljabin, set design by Oleg Golovko.
The rehearsal period runs from 19.10.26 to 5.12.26.
The scope of duties includes the supervision of the stage design of the production during the rehearsal process until the premiere:
Accompanying rehearsal supervision (rehearsal stages and venues), contact person for the corresponding departments and the stage design person
Supervision of the production process in the corresponding departments as well as coordination in artistic questions with the artistic team.
Prepare drawings, schedules, lists and documentation

Role / Requirements profile
Prerequisites:
Studies in the field of stage/costume design or comparable training
Design talent and stylistic confidence
Computer skills such as MS Office, AutoCAD, Photoshop etc. are desirable.
Organizational talent, independence, reliability, teamwork and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, commitment and willingness to work flexible, theatre-standard hours
Familiarity with theater processes
