We are currently working on our short film "Under the Skin" as part of our 5th semester project in the Media: Conception & Production at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden.
Logline: When life grows inside you, but it feels like something that eats you up from the inside. In a feverish nightmare, a young woman experiences pregnancy not as a miracle, but as a physical and psychological horror.
The shooting period would be December 02 & 03, from 16:00 to approx. 23:30 in the Mainzer Oberstadt.
As this is a no-budget student project, we are unfortunately unable to offer a fee, accommodation or reimbursement of travel costs.
On request, however, we can organize a return trip after the shoot.
On completion of the project, we will of course provide you with the edited material. We are also planning to submit the film to various festivals, which will hopefully allow the work to reach a wider audience.
We would really appreciate it if you would be interested in the role and look forward to hearing from you.

Heike is the protagonist's mother. She is in her mid-60s, recently retired, happily married and has taken on a more traditional mother and housewife role all her life, despite her career. Heike is generally open to modern lifestyles, but inwardly remains an advocate of traditional family values. She expects her daughter to start a family at some point, even if she makes it clear that she has other ideas.
It would be perfect if she already had some acting experience!
