Artistic Director (m/f/d) for the association "Augenauf"

We are looking for

Artistic Director (m/f/d) 70%

The Augenauf association brings professional theater to children and young people in Winterthur. We bring selected productions including an educational program to schools and cultural institutions and enable cultural participation for young people - low-threshold, high quality and with great passion.

Our three areas:

• Theaterfrühling: theater performances for kindergarten and primary school

• augenauf! the festival: theater performances for audiences aged 13+

• Performance programme: selected theater offerings for children aged 4 to 12 and 13 to 15

Your tasks
In this central function, you will manage the administration of the association in close cooperation with the administrative management and the board and ensure that everything runs smoothly. This includes:

• Curating, organizing and coordinating all performances in the three areas mentioned above

• Organizing advertising and media relations

• Coordinating & Communication with theaters, schools, theater professionals and funding agencies

• Involvement in fundraising and administration of funding and project funds

• Assistance with the annual report, statistics, And association documents

• Salary range is between CHF 60'000.- to CHF 66,000 annual salary including 13th salary at 70 job percent.

Your profile
You are a structured, independent and communicative person from the cultural sector who likes to take on responsibility and maintain an overview. What you bring:

• CAS in Cultural Management or equivalent training (degree in theater studies, dramaturgy or similar).)

• Experience in children's and youth theater

• Very good written and spoken German, clear communication

• Networking in Winterthur and the Winterthur theater scene is an advantage

• Understanding of cultural policy and funding
