Actress (f/d) for the Bachelor graduation film "Beside the World (AT)"

As part of the Bachelor of Film Production, we are looking for an actress to play the role of Lena.

The topic of grief is a universal, but at the same time very individual experience. Some deal with it, others try to avoid it or suppress it. The film takes up this theme. It is a movie for people who have gone through similar experiences, who can identify with the protagonist and thus feel seen and heard.

Plot
Mara, a young woman, loses herself more and more in her created dream world in order to escape reality and the death of her best friend Timo, until it catches up with her in her dreams and she has to face the truth.

Premise
Grief processing is a long and hard process. Repression only protects in the short term, but prevents long-term healing and closure.

As this is a student production, the position is unfortunately not remunerated.

Lena is a confident, loud and extroverted person. She covers up her insecurity with humorous statements and sometimes put-on self-confidence. Sometimes this makes her come across as arrogant.
She wants to be liked and seen.

Lena has been in a relationship with Dave for several months. They are both in the same group of friends as Mara and Helen.
