For our production WHO KILLED THE GREAT GATSBY we are looking to cast VICK CARRAWAY
Vick is the new kid on the block in the rich neighborhood of Gatsby, but is alienated by the superficiality of privileged society, which lives only in luxury. Originally, she just wanted to be a quiet, unexciting stockbroker in New York City and occasionally have tea with her cousin Daisy in East Egg.
But over the course of the summer, she befriends the mysterious host of the glitziest parties, Jay Gatsby, more than she would have thought - and than she would have wanted - and suddenly Vick finds herself entangled in the middle of an existential interpersonal nightmare.
Incessantly caught in the conflict between intervening and observing, between responsibility and self-protection.
Role age: between 25-35 years (it's Vick's 30th birthday)
Vick is one of the seven leading roles of our twenty-strong ensemble in our anniversary production. Since 2016, we have stood for top-class summer theater with depth in symbiosis with nature in Wiesbaden. The Kultur-Dschungel has been our permanent venue since 2021. All rehearsals and performances take place on site in the open air.
