Actress (f/d) as "Tina" for the short film "Tschö"
We are looking for an actress for the role of TINA (48)
For the graduation film "Tschö" at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences: Paul is dead. He sends his family on a scavenger hunt around the will - just to say goodbye to them personally.
Running time: approx. 15 minutes
Genre: absurd comedy
Shooting period: 06.-11.01.2026 (total 2 rehearsal days, 4 shooting days - but we probably only need the role of Tina on two shooting days)
Shooting will take place in Idstein, about an hour's drive from Frankfurt. It would be great if you come from Hessen, but applications from outside Hessen are also welcome.
As this is a student production, which is largely financed from private funds, we unfortunately do not have the possibility to pay a fee. However, we will of course cover travel costs, accommodation if necessary and delicious meals on set. You are also welcome to use material from the film for your showreel.

Role description:
Tina is Paul's daughter-in-law and very important to himself. In fact, she helps manage her successful husband's finances, even though she is definitely the junior partner in the relationship in economic terms as the net cashier. This control is simply important to her. She doesn't leave the house, or even the bathroom, without half a drugstore on her skin and in her hair. She tries to prevent her husband from having contact with his own family wherever she can. He usually puts up with this, mainly due to a lack of motivation. She doesn't hold back her own opinion and follows the motto "Talking is better than thinking". Unfortunately, she also thinks so little about what she says that she never misspells a word and doesn't hold back out of politeness, which is why she comes across as incredibly quick-witted. She has no relationship with her own parents. Her father died a long time ago and her mother threw her out of the house when she was a teenager and broke off contact. She cannot allow anyone to understand her own vulnerability and therefore throws herself into constant attacks against everything and everyone around her. Attack is the best defense. And Gauloises red is the best cigarette brand.
