Actors (m/f/d) for a student coming-of-age short film

Hello,

I'm Ronja and I'm a 6th semester film student at the SAE Institute Leipzig. I am shooting a Coming of Age short film for my Bachelor's degree in May 2026.

The short film deals with co-dependency in family dynamics. The story is about a teenage girl who lives with her father who has a drinking problem. An acceptance letter from a distant university confronts her with a difficult decision: Stay and let her father's addiction continue to rule her life or decide for herself and give up responsibility.

Shooting period & location:

Shooting will take place mid to late May in Dresden.

This is a no/low budget project as it is a student project. Meals/catering will be taken care of extensively. Travel costs can be covered if necessary. Overnight accommodation in or around Dresden would be an advantage, as filming takes place on consecutive days. If overnight accommodation is not available, this can be provided by arrangement.
