Actors (m/f/d) for a scripted street interview (social media ad)

What’s it all about?

We’re Valkental, a young German startup from North Rhine-Westphalia. We make jackets that make you visible in the dark. For our next social media ad (Instagram/Facebook), we’re filming a street interview. It’s meant to look like we’re spontaneously approaching people on the street, but it’s actually scripted. For this, we’re looking for people who come across as completely natural on camera, as if they were really being asked the questions right then and there.

Your tasks:

• You’ll play a passerby being interviewed on the street

• You’ll say a few short lines from the script, in a relaxed manner and in your own words

• You may try on our jacket in front of the camera and react to it

• You’ll be on set for a maximum of 2 hours, including a brief briefing

What you should bring:

• You come across as natural and likable on camera—not artificial or like an advertisement

• You can quickly learn short passages of text and deliver them as if they just came to mind

• You speak German without an accent

• You are reliable and punctual

How to apply:

Please send us a short selfie video (max. 30 seconds) along with your profile, in which you spontaneously answer this question: "What do you wear when you’re out cycling in the evening?" That’s exactly how relaxed we want the shoot to be later on.
