Type: A born bureaucrat. Conventional, unassuming, extremely proper, and orderly. A man who finds security in spreadsheets, forms, and clear procedures.

Role Description & Character Arc

Klaus-Dieter* is an IT archivist at the Aethel Group. His job is pure routine: checking files, checking boxes, stamping approvals for destruction. He is neither a hero nor an investigator—he simply does his duty meticulously.

However, as he reviews the “A.S.N.U.” project, his clinical meticulousness gradually gives way to uncertainty and paranoia:

1. The Technocrat: At first, he acts completely detached and cool. Everything follows a fixed pattern.

2. The Incident: Missing reports and redacted pages begin to shake his beloved order. His gestures become more subtle, more hesitant, more searching.

3. The Loss of Control: As the system and the 0.42 Hz frequency gain the upper hand, his familiar world shatters. In the end, panic gives way to an ice-cold, rigid resignation (assimilation).

*Klaus Dieter was just a working title; the role is gender-neutral

Acting Requirements & Role Profile

• Strong micro-acting (subtle facial expressions): Since the narrative relies heavily on close-ups and detailed shots, the actor must be able to convey emotions such as doubt, hesitation, confusion, and budding paranoia through subtle nuances (eye movements, furrowing the brow, a brief pause of the hand).

• Screen presence without many words: Klaus-Dieter has little to no dialogue. The entire dramatic arc is conveyed purely through body language, glances, the handling of props (pen, USB drive, files), and reactions to the audio material.

• Versatility: The actor must be able to credibly embody the seamless transition from a rigid, monotonous bureaucratic demeanor to a state of complete mental alienation.
