Role / Requirements profile
Souleymane was Idrissa's father - a quiet, proud, yet gentle man. He provided for his family, was their solid anchor and the heart of the home. With his warm and open manner, he quickly made contact with people and made everyone feel heard and seen. He had a passion for books. He wanted to pass on knowledge and education to his children, and so he ran the family bookshop with dedication. When he died, the warmth in the family died too. Idrissa was only 16 years old at the time and the loss not only left a void, but also a coldness that can still be felt today. We are looking for a Senegalese or West African actor between 35-50 for this role.
