2 older actresses (f/d) as "Ulrike & Wilma" for the short film "Tschö"

We are looking for two actresses for the roles of the two sisters ULRIKE (75) and WILMA (70)

This is what the film is about: Paul is dead. He sends his family on a scavenger hunt around the will - just to say goodbye to them personally.

Runtime: approx. 15 minutes
Genre: absurd comedy
Shooting period: 06.-11.01.2026 (total 2 rehearsal days, 4 shooting days - but we probably only need the roles of Ulrike and Wilma on 3 shooting days)

Shooting will take place in Idstein, about an hour's drive from Frankfurt. It would be great if you are from Hessen, but applications from outside Hessen are also welcome.

As this is a student production, which is largely financed by private funds, we unfortunately do not have the possibility to pay a fee. However, we will of course cover travel costs, accommodation if necessary and delicious meals on set. You are also welcome to use material from the film for your showreel.

Role description:
Ulrike and Wilma are almost like characters who are constantly talking to themselves. They are Paul's younger and older sister respectively and as a result, especially as girls, were both spoiled, while Paul's parents were rather indifferent to their needs. Emotions were simply much more acceptable in girls' behavior than in boys. They liked to play tricks on their brother, sometimes of a very crude nature. However, they liked to shift the responsibility for this to Paul as a scapegoat in his own trap. Genetics and blood relations are almost problematically important to them and they don't believe in alternative family concepts. They were unable to increase the family's economic prosperity, but they were able to maintain it to some extent. The fact that Paul has not contacted them in recent years, but now allows himself to die spontaneously without their knowledge, literally sets them on fire. They now want to get back at the family without compromise.
