For our short film, we are looking for an actress over 40 with a professional, media-effective smile for the role of Frau Becker.The film is about five young filmmakers who want to submit their ideas to FutureFilmförderung. But then they find out: Only one idea will be funded. The decision is made by Ms. Becker, a woman who maintains a façade that could hardly be further from her true self. She tries to speak as correctly and inclusively as possible, but it quickly becomes clear that this is not out of conviction, but for selfish motives. In the end, she chooses the idea that causes the least offense. The most "normal". Everything that is strange, new or bold is discarded. Because: film is a business, and customers don't buy anything unfamiliar.The short film aims to show how much the German funding system is characterized by fear of the new. Hardly any new and innovative stories are produced and funded in Germany. We want to change that!Important information:This is a no-budget project. About the project:"Up Close" is a horror-drama short film about Isa, a young woman who has recently lost someone close to her. As she tries to come to terms with this loss and move on, she becomes increasingly embroiled in an internal struggle with herself - and with the question of what it really means to let go.The story is told from a subjective perspective and stylistically draws on both body horror (e.g. The Substance or The Fly) as well as surreal, nightmarish imagery familiar from giallo cinema (e.g. Suspirira by Dario Argento).Further information on the shoot:The short film has a planned running time of 7-8 minutes and will be shot on a weekend at the end of September to mid-October this year in the NRW area. As already mentioned at the beginning, this project is a no-budget production by a young crew, which I, the director and author, am financing from my own resources as a project close to my heart, so we have no funds at our disposal. We are looking for various extras for a one-taker music video for a German pop artist. The shoot is to take place on 03.06. in the evening, from approx. 7 pm (exact time to be planned) in Cologne's old town for several hours. The sequence will be rehearsed and the one-taker will be shot in one piece. Experience on set is required.Fee: The fee is 150€ net on account, all buyouts included. For the production of a video for the training of medical professionals, we are looking for two very! very overweight extras. For this reason, it is imperative that the extras have an obesity of BMI over 35! The topic of the training film is the treatment of (special) skin! Filming will take place in early/mid-July on a real ward at Düsseldorf University Hospital. The "main roles" will be played by real doctors and nurses. The extra serves as an "acting partner" for the medical professionals. No preparation is necessary! Dialogs and texts do not need to be prepared. However, the extras must have the necessary self-confidence to show parts of their body (e.g. legs, stomach, arms) unclothed in front of the camera. At the end, the video is made available to care professionals in a protected area of an elearning provider.

Die/Der Komparse ist "Anspielpartner" für die jeweilgen Profis. Rolle ist die eines Patienten, die/der von Profis versorgt, behandelt und beraten wird. Vorbeitung ist keine nötig, Dialoge und Texte müssen nicht vorbereitet werden. Die Komparsen müssen allerdings über das nötige Selbstbewusstsein verfügen, um selbstverständlich Teile Ihres Körpers (z.B. Beine, Bauch, Arme) unbekleidet vor der Kamera zu präsentieren. Das entstandene Video dient am Ende zur Schulung von Pflegefachkräften und wird im geschützen Bereich eines Elearning-Anbieters zur Verfügung gestellt.
