Actors (m/f/d) for a student horror short film as a semester project
My short film is about mental decline.Plot:A young man goes into his garden at dusk. Once he arrives in the garden's arbor, he finds a photo of him and his best friend in a box. At that moment, he remembers a car ride. You can see them talking and laughing. In a small time jump, we see him holding the cell phone out to his friend, laughing. He wants to look at it, but when he looks back at the road, he frantically and panickedly pushes the cell phone away, but it's too late. All you can see is the impact of the two of them. The next moment you see him crouching in front of the car and his dead best friend is covered with a coat of paint in the blue-lit background. When the memory is over, you see the young man crying and hear the voice of his therapist in his head telling him that it wasn't his fault. He walks on and looks out of the window. It is now dark, but he recognizes a figure in the light. Startled and confused, he slowly makes his way to the door outside and walks slowly towards the figure, asking again and again who it is. The camera slowly zooms in on the figure who suddenly turns around and you see a bloody face representing his dead friend. He looks aggressively into the camera and suddenly comes forward screaming. In a tracking shot, we see the man fall to the ground, terrified and panicked, and frantically crawl back into the arbor. Once inside, he frantically closes the door in panic and tries to calm down. You suddenly hear voices off-screen telling him that he is to blame and that he has killed him. You notice that the voices are getting louder and louder and the camera slowly zooms in on the man's face, suddenly focusing on the door where you suddenly hear aggressive hammering and the figure screams: YOU KILLED ME! The man staggers into the next room and we see distorted camera views that are supposed to show his mental deterioration. In a darker corner, he falls to the floor, crying and screaming, trying to remember the words of the therapist. An off-screen voice comes on again, this time saying: "It was an accident. No one could have known what happened. You are not to blame. But the sentence structure quickly changes and the thoughts of guilt come up again and become louder. After a few seconds, the voices suddenly stop and you hear the door being loudly pushed open. You hear footsteps slowly getting louder while the man's face is still shown in the semi-darkness. When silence falls again, you can see the head of the figure slowly appearing in the dark background of the man, looking at him aggressively and full of revenge, and finally dragging him into the darkness with a scream. A text appears at the end: Any distraction while driving can kill you. Both immediately and later. This is the end of the movie.I am open to realistic suggestions from the actors.Compensation: No budget project. If an agreement can be reached, a small fee is possibleContact: Jeremias
