Workshop leader (m/f/d) for the Neuberinhaus Reichenbach in the area of "Stage & Design"

As a large theater and cultural center, the Neuberinhaus Reichenbach is an indispensable building block of cultural life for Reichenbach as well as for the entire Vogtland and the region of Western Saxony. The Neuberinhaus Reichenbach is looking for an artistic director for the "Stage Design" workshop on a fee basis to design the productions of its amateur theater group, the Neuberin Ensemble. The workshop is to take place once a week in the afternoon or at the weekend from July to December 2025.

Tasks:
- Conception and implementation of a weekly workshop (approx. 2-3 hours per session) with up to ten interested participants from Reichenbach and the surrounding area
- Teaching theoretical basics and practical techniques in the field of stage and design
- Guiding and supporting the participants in the creative development of the stage set for up to three

productions
- Preparing and guiding practical exercises (e.g. model making, materials science, material science, stage design, etc.).
- Exchange and feedback on the participants' work
- Collaboration with directors

Requirements:
- Proven knowledge and/or experience in the field of stage design (e.g. through studies, professional experience or comparable activities)
- Ideally pedagogical experience or experience in teaching artistic content
- Creativity and enjoyment in dealing with people
- Reliability and independent work
- Flexibility and openness to the ideas of the participants
- Willingness to work closely with the Neuberinhaus Reichenbach and actors in the city of Reichenbach
