The new stage Senftenberg offers a varied program as a theater and state stage Brandenburg South. The work in the town and for the region is just as central as an extensive program for a young audience. The stage, which is also successful beyond the region, offers more than 400 performances a year in 4 different venues and at guest venues with around 100 permanent employees.

We are looking for a full-time, permanent position from January 1, 2025. We are looking for a full-time parental leave replacement for the

position Online Marketing (m/f/d) (parental leave replacement - probably 1 year)

The position is part of the public relations team of the new stage, to which a marketing position for press & print and a position for advertising & design are also assigned. The position also serves as an interface to the artistic management and the administrative management.

Your tasks
The area of activity consists of developing, controlling, monitoring and analyzing all online marketing activities of the theater to increase the level of awareness of the theater online and to build sympathy and interest for the house in public. This includes planning, implementing and optimizing digital marketing strategies using various channels (content marketing, social media, SEO/SEA) in consultation with the theater management. This means:

  • own editorial responsibility for the web presence of the new stage (with Drupal) as well as further development and optimization of the functionality of the site

  • coordination of image recordings with the theater photographer as well as publication and distribution of selected recordings

  • planning, coordination of video recordings by the sound department as well as external partners and their publication

  • (further) development of online marketing measures such as SEO/SEA as well as the planning, booking & Handling of the corresponding measures

  • Independent creation, management and publication of (paid) content and campaigns for the theater's social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube; if necessary Development of further channels on Tik Tok & LinkedIn)

  • Networking with relevant regional & national social media channels and community management

  • Analysis and optimization of online marketing measures (content marketing, social media, SEO/SEA) as well as trend and market observation

  • Editorial and graphic support of the digital signage solutions (media stele at the harbor and advertisingTV in the in-house foyer)

Role/requirement profile

Your qualifications

  • Degree in communication sciences, journalism, business administration, cultural management, a comparable qualification or completed vocational training

  • Experience in online marketing

  • Experience in social media management on various platforms (Facebook, Instagram & YouTube; LinkedIn and Tik Tok desirable)

  • Knowledge of copywriting as well as photography and videography

  • Sure handling of common image and video editing tools (main tool: Canva, Indesign; Illustrator, Premiere, DaVinci desirable)

  • Mastery spoken and written German, strong communication, presentation and teamwork skills, confident handling of MS Office

  • Friendly and courteous in contact within the company and with external partners

  • High degree of initiative and independence within the designated work task

  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends

  • Experience in theater operations desired, but not mandatory
