Leading actor (m/d) as "son" for a short film

We are a student short film that aims to make the resolution of trauma and suppressed pain visible.

In the Eastern European context in particular, there is often a

deeply rooted image of the "strong family father", whose harshness is glorified or romanticized in retrospect. Our film takes a critical look at precisely this idealization in an experimental way.

LOGLINE: On the anniversary of the father's death, mother and son gather in the kitchen to solemnly commemorate him at the laid table. While mother Sveta expresses her grief over the loss, Mischa is confronted with his deep-rooted trauma. Between steaming soup, repressed memories and  and the ghosts of domestic violence, Misha begins to free himself from the invisible chains and the trauma of his family for the first time.
