Leading actor (m/d) as "Commissioner" for the student noir short film "In God's Name"

We are a group of students from Leipzig who are producing a short film for a bachelor group project. The short film "In God's Name" is a 4-5 minute thriller in film noir style. The shooting will take about 3 days (in the week from 30.06.25 - 06.07.25) and will take place in Leipzig. We are looking for a cast for the main role in the short film, a middle-aged police inspector who tries to solve a series of murders of Catholic priests.

Logline of the movie: While young, up-and-coming Inspector Ritter is investigating a series of murders of priests of the Catholic Church during one of the many nightly overtime hours, an inconspicuous stranger is left alone with a priest in the church after a service. The following morning, instead of certainty, the investigation in this very church yields only another victim.

As this is a self-financed project, we are unfortunately unable to pay a fee, but food, accommodation and travel expenses will of course be covered.

The commissioner is 30 - 40 years old, athletic and traditionally CIS masculine. More specific physical details such as hair color, eye color and height are undefined and therefore flexible. The actor should be able to embody the self-confident and dogged character of the typical Commissioner character overtime. Stunt or effects experience is not required.
