Inspiring individuals (m/f) for a portrait film by a Dutch educational publisher

For a Dutch educational publisher (textbook for 14–16-year-olds learning German in school), we are looking for someone from Leipzig and the surrounding area with an inspiring personal story for a portrait video. We’re not looking for an actor, but for a real person with their own story to share.

For this project, we’re looking for people who have overcome a particular challenge in their lives and would like to share how that experience has influenced and changed their relationships with friends, colleagues, family, or their social circle.

The video will be filmed in German. Communication and coordination with the agency will take place in English.

Here are a few examples, but we’re open to your story:

• Finding your way back to life after an illness or accident

• Overcoming burnout and learning to accept support

• Building new strength and friendships after a difficult breakup

• Moved to a different city for a fresh start

• Overcame a personal crisis and grew from the experience

• Took the leap into self-employment

• Successfully navigated a new career path

• Overcome an addiction or other major challenge

• Met new people through volunteer work

• Started a community project or club

• Experienced prejudice or exclusion and now support others

• Learned to overcome setbacks through sports

• Overcame family conflicts and strengthened relationships

• Helped others as a mentor or coach
