Extras/Protagonists Wanted for Video Production (NS-DOK) in Cologne, July 20, 2026

For two short promotional films for the NS Documentation Center in Cologne, we are looking for four reliable protagonists/extras aged 29 to 35, ideally from Cologne or the surrounding area, for July 20, 2026.

The NS Documentation Center is one of Germany’s most significant memorial sites. The two films promote two interactive democracy formats: an immersive room-based game and an app that brings democracy education from the museum into everyday life. This is a project with genuine social significance that is very close to our hearts as a film crew.

What to expect:

A long, but also relaxed and varied day of filming from approximately 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. As a group, you’ll move through different rooms and scenarios, discuss, negotiate, and make decisions together. All without any scripted dialogue—it’s all about natural reactions, expressions, and group energy.

Who we’re looking for:

People who are genuinely excited about this project :)
Some experience in front of the camera is, of course, always a plus, but not a requirement. Much more important are naturalness, openness, and a willingness to be fully present throughout the day.

Absolute reliability is our most important criterion. Since we have a very tight shooting schedule and an equally tight budget, a last-minute cancellation would be extremely difficult for us. If you apply, please be absolutely certain that you’re available all day on the shoot day.

What you’ll get:

A €150 fee for the entire shoot day, lunch on set, a professional film crew to accompany you throughout the day, and the opportunity to appear in two promotional videos for one of Cologne’s most important cultural institutions. Of course, you’ll be able to use the final videos in your portfolio afterward!

One more thing:

We’re a professional video production company with over 17 years of international experience, and we regularly work on projects for national and international clients in the fields of music, culture, branding, and film. Anyone who impresses us on the day of filming will automatically be on our radar for future productions—and those might very well be on a larger scale :) We’re a super friendly, laid-back, and open-minded team, and we’re always excited to find reliable and talented people to join our growing network.
