Since 2002, the Song of the Nibelungs has been performed at the renowned Nibelungen Festival in Worms in ever-changing interpretations at the original location in front of the historic Worms Imperial Cathedral. The open-air theater takes place for two weeks each summer (July/August) with a top-class ensemble. In addition to the performances, there is a varied festival program at various venues.

Technical Project Management Assistant (m/f/div)
full-time (40 hours) in Worms, initially for a limited period of 2 years, after expiry of the fixed-term contract, permanent employment is possible.
You will manage and supervise the technical processes, with a focus on the main play of the Nibelungen Festival, from conception to implementation. You are the interface between the management and the Technical Director, coordinate the technical planning and also coordinate on site.
Your tasks in detail:
Coordination of technical production planning, also with the external and interdisciplinary teams
Ensuring schedules and quality standards
Maintaining the digital organizational structure
Supervising the safety, Evacuation concept of the Nibelungen Festival and interface for contacts
Participation and coordination of technical meetings with authorities and trades as well as taking minutes
Coordination and implementation of the construction, conversion and dismantling of technical and And dismantling of technical and structural facilities
Collaboration in the recruitment of technical specialists for the annual main production and the drafting of contracts
Solicitation, evaluation and commissioning of offers from external service providers:inside and preparation of tenders
Support in controlling project budgets and budget management trade stage

Your profile:
You are a strong communicator and team-oriented personality who likes to work independently and in a structured manner.
Completed training as an event technology specialist or studies in event management/event technology or comparable qualifications
Some experience with setting up and dismantling events
Organizational talent and strong communication skills
Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Knowledge of AutoCad or a comparable drawing program is also desirable
Willingness to work flexible hours, sometimes evenings and weekends, especially during the high season of the festival
Sensitivity in dealing with artists and audiences
