The Landestheater Schwaben with its 4 stages - the main stage, the studio stage, the foyer stage and the playroom of the Junges Landestheater - and with its 14-member ensemble and around 60 other employees* as well as numerous artistic guests is one of the most traditional theaters in the region.
Each season, around 18 in-house productions with around 200 performances are created on the 4 stages, as well as at over 40 regularly staged guest venues in Swabia and other locations in Germany and abroad.
The Landestheater Schwaben is looking to strengthen its team with immediate effect for a Stage Manager / Master Technician for Event Technology (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- Stage technical implementation and cross-trade coordination of rehearsal and performance operations at the Landestheater's venues as well as guest performances at the guest venue
- Sub-process manager / sub-process manager (m/f/d) for the sub-processes "Rehearsals on the rehearsal stage", "Stage rehearsals" and "Repertoire operation" of the production process
- Close cooperation with the technical management, Design, Equipment and the production teams as well as with other technical and artistic departments
- Observing the relevant standards, laws and the principles of prevention
- Finding creative solutions to artistic and practical problems
The area of work requires independent work in multiple shifts, including Sundays and public holidays.
Successfully completed examination as a master craftsman (m/f/d) for event technology, specializing in stage/studio or comparable
- Ability to work independently and on your own responsibility as well as to manage people
- Ability to coordinate, interdepartmental thinking, organizational talent
- Ability to work in a team, commitment, flexibility
- Comprehensive knowledge of occupational safety
- IT knowledge (CAD, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office)
- Desirable: Professional experience in theater operations
- Driving license class B (old driving license class 3), desirable class C,CE , C1 (old driving license class 2)
- Physical resilience
- Willingness to work alternating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
