Actresses (f/d) as "passers-by" for a short film of the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg

For our short film "Free Will" we are looking for small female actors for individual scenes on the street.

The film is being made as part of a student project at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy and combines documentary and fictional elements. It centers on a young man who produces social media content with camera glasses, constantly oscillating between self-staging, observation and authenticity. The film deals with the question of how strongly our desire to be noticed shapes our behavior today and why this form of content works so well in our society despite or precisely because of its artificiality. We not only want to take a critical look at the topic, but also explain what makes it so effective and fascinating for many people.

We are looking for women who are approached on the street by our protagonist and content creator for so-called "Pick-Up Artist" videos. this content is one of the most successful videos in the sector and it is important to us to present it authentically. We also want to shoot the whole thing as if it were real and documentary and not staged.

It is therefore important to appear authentic and to be prepared to participate as part of the public setting. No acting experience is necessary, what is important is reliability, openness and a willingness to engage in this creative process.
