Job description
For our current short film project titled "Funny Little Fears," we are still looking for an actress to play a retiree—the older version of our main character, "Lara."
There will be one day of filming on September 2, 2026, in a park in Chemnitz. We prefer applications from people in Chemnitz and the surrounding area.
Expense reimbursement (travel costs, meals) - Currently unpaid.
In the scene, Lara and the older woman sit in the park and talk about love and missed opportunities in life. Ms. Dorsch is expected to deliver a longer line, but otherwise she listens to the young Lara. If you’re interested, we’d be happy to provide more information.
Synopsis of the film:
Lara lives a reclusive life in her apartment—accompanied only by coffee, cigarettes, and her sarcastic but loving roommate Sam. When she falls in love with a waitress, she lacks the courage to approach her and face her feelings. During a walk with Mrs. Dorsch, who is hard of hearing, she begins to pour her heart out. In this quiet encounter between generations, Lara’s deepest wish is revealed: to finally find the courage to put her heart on the line before it’s too late.
